A Slow Cook For The Cure
On October 10th, we hosted our 7th Annual Cook for the Cure event at Miller Brooks.
Over 150 guests settled in for some home cookin’ and sampled 12 different dishes, all prepared and served from KitchenAid® slow cookers.
Creative Director Dan Henne was the winning chef this year with his delicious Creole Ya Ya.

We raised nearly $7,500 for the cause, all of which will go to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. Over the past seven years, we have raised nearly $55,000 for the cure.
In addition to our ever-popular silent auction, this year we incorporated two additional elements into the fundraising fun — an online game and a custom MB Cure T-shirt.
It’s not too late to participate!
Buy.
T-shirts are still on sale. Now at a post-event price! Just $15 each.
Our first-ever fundraising t-shirts can be purchased online. All profits go directly to Susan G. Komen for the Cure.®
